In late may i plan on biking across Asia starting in Istanbul and heading for China. No set plans but it would be nice to share the road with some other cyclist. Let me know if anyone's keen. My plans are open.

Good day Thomas...I am currently in Southern Spain and heading to China. Original plan was to fly over Turkey to Dashube as there were visa restrictions for US passport holder....but this has changed so I can pedal thru Turkey now. End of May is about right for me to be in Instanbul. I sent you a PM with WhatsApp number so we communicate a bit more. Happy that you posted this!
should be a good idea to look dir a second passport If you're travelled with your into Turkey. Chinese government reject all visa applications with turkish Immigration prints 12 month before.
Take care Pamir Highway ist a challenge.
Are you sure about that. Never herd of people having this issue
Heard it from a Durch woman living in China.
No wonder you hadn't heard anything. This practice existing now just a few days.
OK, thanks for the heads up
Google search show cases where visas were denied atChinese border for some with Turkish stamps. So just get Chinese Visa before entering Turkey. You may have to ship passport or find an embassy in route. I secured my China visa before leaving US.
Hi, I'm starting from Georgia in April, heading across central Asia towards the Pamir Highway, we may be a few week apart, but if our paths cross it could be good to ride together for a while
